Wedding Styled Shoot: Romantic Bohemian

Rich, ladylike colours complete with antique wares and florals in vibrant rich hues were placed against romantic white gowns by Rebecca Caroline and hair and makeup by Airin Lee to create this soft, beautiful bohemian styled shoot. A clash of deep berry hues with pops of bold magenta, red and forest green by Keira Floral and beautiful rustic vintage styling and decor by Le Conte Decor complete with a Handmade Macrame backdrop and some dream catchers.

The day was cloudy and cool with patches of hazy sunlight, the leaves moved in the light breeze, the sweet scent of the cakes drifted through the air, and we let our bohemian daydream take us away.

Wedding Styled Shoot: The Artist

singapore wedding photography

She who adorns herself in flowers finds solace in unyielding ones; florals by artistic muses translated into couture, an array of colours breathing life into Henri Matisse’s artwork. Each prick and stitch is meticulous, beads and sequins adorning seam-to-seam of every garment as the perfect portrayal of an artist’s canvas. The representation of day to night depicts the collection’s meld of bursting vibrance and acute sombreness, Roy Lichtenstein and Matisse’s legacy living through wearable art.

Wedding Day Videography: Jason + Ivy (Wedding Trailer)

“Prior to meeting Ivy, Jason was a partner in the vice of drinking, mahjong, poker, horse racing, dog racing, snail racing, spider fighting.
You name it , we bet on it.
In fact.
You pour it, we’ll drink it.
You roll it , we’ll smoke it.

Jason, you are very lucky. This is your best bet ever. You leave here today gaining a partner in Ivy. Warm, loving and caring. Ivy, you are extremely lucky as well. You leave her today, with beautiful dress and flowers.”

This is a wedding with beautiful friendships, truthful words and great humor. Guests that were there didn’t seem to bother if they had work tomorrow. They were fully immersed in hearty conversations and alcohol, accompanying Jason and Ivy on their most important day of their lives. Cheers.

Overseas Pre-wedding Photography Bangkok: Woody Elopement

Having the fortuity to chance upon a festival that cultivated the vintage culture and craftsmen’s community in Thailand, we were inspired by local artists integrating their traditions with contemporary art. Ignited by this mutual desire to learn from one another, we initiated a collaboration with a group of creatives fronting two designers- a leather craftsman and a food stylist- who happens to be very much in love.

Inspired by the Thai artists and their relationship to mother nature, the shoot was done at a lumber yard; organically setting a dark undertone for this elopement. With handcrafted reclaimed wood furniture, good food and all around surrounded by the majesty of the forest, it was a tranquil and beautiful moment to be appreciated that day.

Wedding Day Photography: Davis + Mish

Amongst all the wonderful things that was said of Davis and Michelle, one that was echoed repeatedly was that of their hospitality. That, and how inclusive and warm they are. Unfailingly kind and sincere, we were made to feel welcome the moment we stepped in, and appreciated when it was time to leave.

Unlike most traditional weddings, Davis and Mish chose to hold their ceremony at home. Guests flew in from all over the world to join in the celebration, and with a little help from family and friends, the space was transformed into a beautiful garden setting, adorned with handmade decorations, fresh flowers and personalised favours. Dinner was a communal event, bringing together family members, friends and strangers. From serving the food to cleaning up after, everyone had a role to play, and everybody was more than happy to do it. Live band music and ice cream popsicles served up a relaxed vibe, and the backdrop was illuminated by the smiles of those gathered together. It was a beautifully intimate setting, where everyone had a genuine interest in conversing and eating together. Bonds were strengthened, friendships made; and at the heart of the celebration were Davis and Michelle, who provided for others by giving of themselves, and whom in return had been embraced with gratitude and love from those around them.

Fitting that the first day of the rest of their lives was celebrated at home. After all, home is where love abides, and home is what you make it to be.
